Of Angels and Demons (Audible Audio Edition) Jonathan Yanez Aaron Wagner Books

Alan Price thought all his questions were answered. He was told he was a Nephilim, a human chosen by the forces of light to wage a war against the darkness. He was wrong. Alan's fate goes far deeper than anyone could have ever imagined.
Michael's worst fears have become his reality. The woman he loves is standing trial for her crimes against Heaven. He will not, he cannot, sentence her to death, but is she capable of change? Is the same woman who stole his heart still alive inside the shadow she has become? As if this wasn't enough, she has information regarding one of Heaven's deadliest foes. The once revered Archangel Gabriel, thought to be long dead, may only be in hiding.
Leader of the Usurper's campaign against heaven, general of the Fallen race, the Archangel Gabriel is very much alive. After falsifying his death during the war in Heaven, he has spent his time secluded on Earth, growing in power and recovering from his wounds. Now a new opportunity has presented itself. The Fallen Archangel is ready to make his move.
The people he has chosen to trust are still holding something from him. With a burning desire to uncover the truth, Alan searches for answers on his own. His journey will take him in search of another Wonder of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. A voice is calling to him, a voice promising answers. He soon finds that history is doomed to repeat itself, and he is given a burden that he may not be able to bear.

Alan Price is really growing on me. This series is very interesting and intriguing. I found the concept of blurring Greek mythology and heavenly figures brilliant, then we added the myths of Dracula to those legends and debunked every strange story as a mere Supernatural cover up. Love it and it made sense so it's believable. The Horses description was funny to imagine. The Battle scene was heartbreaking but wonderful and the character development is growing nicely. Artemis is a doll and discovers she loves PB&J sandwiches. Kyle might just redeem himself after all. Alan seems a bit smitten. Michael is torn between his duty and his heart. Gideon is charming and funny. All the while the plot thickens. 3 horsemen still have to materialize and where is the 4th horse? Guess we'll have to read book 3 to find out. Definetly worth reading. can't wait to read the rest of this series and see what else there is to discover!Product details

Of Angels and Demons (Audible Audio Edition) Jonathan Yanez Aaron Wagner Books Reviews
This was book two in the series. It's not like any other series I've read because it's based mostly on the Christian religion but it's not stuffy and boring like I would expect it to be, it's full of action and very much a good VS evil type book.
Many of the parts of the story and the people in it I remember from Sunday school but it's nothing like the stories from then.
It's definitely worth reading and I'm hesitant to say if you like sci-fi even though that's how many would describe it, but believing the things that I do I know it's based in fact and not wholly made up like most sci-fi. Do I believe this is how things will happen? No, but there is no escaping that some of the things described in this series is fact and not just the imaginings of the author, he just built on the fact to turn it into a great story.
Why isn't this series an best seller with pages and pages of positive reviews?
My only guess why is that fans of the genre are worried that, given the subject matter, they're being tricked into reading religious moralizing in the guise of fiction. This series is anything but!
This series is more along the lines of Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality, series...minus the truly horrendous puns Anthony is fond of. It's just as good, though!
I love the moments of humor interspersed with the dire circumstances. The moments of romance jumbled up with well choreographed fight scenes. And the pacing is perfect...I hate finding myself thinking, "alright already, can we move on now?" That doesn't happen with this author. His stories are a visit to the amusement park with no boring rides.
Pick up book one and immerse yourself in a universe that invites you on and asks, "wanna go again?"
Love to see the growth of Alan and the other characters. The book held my interest and had me wanting more. I must admit that I am not a fan of these multi part books especially when you have to wait for the final book in the series.
Very good read! Just gets better and better. Love his writing! Very talented!
Allan Price and the Temple of Artemis by Jonathan Yanez is the second book in the series. This book did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
I was pleasantly surprised and drawn into this series. I look forward to reading more. The characters are well developed and come to vivid life.
So often the second book of a series fails to achieve the promise of the first. Jonathan Yanez has proved a delightful exception to that rule. If anything, "Alan Price and the Temple of Artemis" exceeds "Alan Price and the Colossus of Rhodes" for action and adventure. However, this is more than a standard fantasy. Jonathan consistently shows a deft hand in developing memorable characters that move the story rapidly with believable dialogue. Well done. I can hardly wait for his next book.
